What makes a good web host for beginners?
I need to create a professional looking site for a business club of the college. I used Google Sites and really like it though, I would like to create my own Web address. I looked weebly but weebly sites are more like blogs than websites. Any recommendations? I have no website making the experience more fiddling w / Google sites. Thank you!
If you are starting with the Web design and want something professional like a club Business College, I recommend try Microsoft Office Small Business, a free service of Microsoft. Although intended for small businesses, it works very well for personal sites, fan sites, recreation, clubs, etc. It has no banner ads or annoying pop-ups like other free hosts. Office Live is a free, easy to use online tool web designer lets you create a website without the need to know how to do HTML / CSS coding. If has 500 MB of storage, as well as free email, contact manager (useful for a college club for sending newsletters, etc.), workspace (document useful to share documents with your club staff). You can also download your own website designed with HTML editors like Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression Web. Currently, Microsoft offers a free domain name (Ie yourdomain.com) for the first year with Office Live (this is optional, because you can use a free subdomain provided by Office Live).
